How to Build a Digital Product Business That Makes $26K a Day

I make at least $26,000 a day from one kind of digital product. I had no special skills, no fancy education and no fame when I started. I did not even get online until my 20s.

I built it from my parents’ spare bedroom. No Etsy, no Amazon, almost no startup cost.

In this post I will walk through my story, how to find your idea, how to make your offer stand out, and how to drive traffic with and without money.

My story, from $2,000 to eight figures

At 22 I tried to sell a $47 online fitness program. By 25 I had made about $2,000 total. That was a miserable failure.

Then I pivoted to high ticket fitness programs at $1,500. I was making about $3,000 a month at my job, so three sales a month would replace my whole paycheck. That is what got me off the ground.

In year one I made about $1 million. The next year about $10 million. Then about $15 million, and then about $25 million a year for several years.

Here is the part most gurus skip. Nothing works forever. What worked in year one did not work in year eight. Strategies have to change, and that is why so many businesses fail.

Why I recommend a service business first

Start with a service based business, not a physical product.

  • Your margins are close to 100% at the start, because you are the product.
  • Most beginners have no money, so trading time is the realistic option.
  • No inventory, no outsourcing, no product creation headaches.
  • High return with low risk.

My goal framing is simple: minimize risk and maximize upside. Nothing beats a service business on that trade.

Online coaching and consulting count as digital products. They are delivered online. Later, you build a team so they do the time heavy work, not you.

How to find your idea

Grab a pen and answer these honestly:

  • What is your current skill set?
  • What have you achieved in the last five years?
  • What comes easily to you that is hard for others?
  • What do people come to you for advice about?
  • What would you tell your younger self? This one often becomes the product.
  • What challenges have you overcome?
  • What could you talk about all day without getting bored?
  • What would people pay to learn from you?

I played Division I football and was into fitness my whole life, so fitness was the natural fit.

Your first business does not need to be a home run. The goal is about $10,000, not the next Amazon. You do not need to be the top expert in the world. You just need to be valuable to someone.

Tie it to health, wealth or relationships

Most offers that sell come back to one of those three. People buy results, not activities they enjoy.

My clients prove how wide this goes. Cynthia helps high school students get into Ivy League schools and can charge $20,000 to $40,000 per client. Kyle sells a day trading offer. Another client helps people get green cards. I have also seen clients teach handstands and gardening.

If you do not have a skill yet, learn one. Udemy and Alison have cheap and free courses. Saying you cannot learn something is just lazy.

Make your offer different

Generic offers lose. “I help people get in shape” or “I help people make money” puts you next to everyone else, and buyers pick the cheaper option.

Your USP has to create curiosity. Here are mine:

  • Fitness: how to eat whatever you want without sabotaging results. Underneath, it is calorie counting and hitting macros. The phrasing gets your foot in the door.
  • Business: book 70% more sales calls using conversion conversations. That is emails, texts, calls, retargeting ads, Facebook groups and live events working together.
  • Dating: get 50% more dates without cold approaching or DMing.

Score your offer

I use Alex Hormozi’s value equation from $100M Offers: dream outcome times perceived likelihood, divided by time delay times effort and sacrifice.

My fitness offer scored poorly. Most people fail, it takes three to four months, and the effort is high. I still sold it, but it took much stronger messaging, sales and fulfillment. A day trading software offer with a fast, low effort outcome scores far better and is easier to sell.

Sell it before you build it

Do not mortgage your house to build something nobody has bought.

Sell the coaching first. Tell the client you will have their plan ready in two to three days. Then build it. I started with Excel and Google Docs.

Run your first clients one on one on Zoom, record the calls, and turn them into curriculum later. That way you build what clients actually want instead of guessing.

You also do not need many tools. I run funnels, texts, emails and my calendar in Elite 360 at $97 a month.

Traffic: start free, then pay

I do not recommend relying on organic content. I have thousands of videos and about 30,000 YouTube subscribers, and content is still not a great way to get rich. I am a business owner first.

Do outreach instead:

  1. Message 100 people a day, about 20 per hour so you avoid spam blocks.
  2. With followers, roughly 30% respond.
  3. About 10% book a call. That is around three calls.
  4. Close at least one.

Cold DMs to strangers reply closer to 10%. If your numbers fall short, the problem is your skill, not the process. Practice until it works. My first week brought in $10,000 this way, which is not typical.

Then reinvest into ads

Here is my old fitness funnel math:

  • Spend $1,000 on ads.
  • Get about 100 leads at roughly $10 each.
  • About 10% book, so about 10 calls.
  • Close about one client at $3,200 for a four month program, roughly $2,200 profit.

I repeated that cycle until I hit about $15 million in revenue at roughly 30% profit.

The takeaway

It is simple, but it is not easy. Pick something you know, tie it to health, wealth or relationships, give it a USP that creates curiosity, sell before you build, and do the outreach every day until you can afford ads. Then repeat the math.
