Pasha didn’t need another coach to talk through her problems with. She needed to take more calls. That’s basically the whole story.
When she came in she was doing about 25 grand a month, spending around 5 grand on ads, and the cash collected was low. Her words, she was desperate and something had to change. In March she closed her first $81,000 month.
She learned sales from my YouTube before she ever joined
So this one’s kind of funny. Pasha had been watching my YouTube videos since July. Not just watching, she’d watch the same ones over and over. She said that was the only way she could do sales at all, because the other people she’d learned from taught it in a way that was way too complicated for her.
From July to December she said that’s where her money came from. If it wasn’t for those videos she’d have had no money. Which, I mean, I’ll take it lol.
I bring this up because a lot of you think sales has to be this big complicated thing with 40 steps and a bunch of fancy lines. It doesn’t. Most of the time people just need a simple process they can actually run on a call without thinking about it. When it’s too complicated, you freeze, you overthink, and you don’t close anybody.
Stop talking about the problem and take more calls
When I asked her what made the biggest difference, she didn’t say a script or a funnel. She said not overthinking it. Just the reps.
She told me she’d had coaches before where they’d sit there talking about her problems all day long, and then wonder why nothing was getting solved. And with me she said it was no BS. Like, there’s no problem, just take more calls.
And honestly that’s how I see most of it. Are you taking enough calls? No. Okay, take more calls. Are your ads running? Yes. Okay, so call the leads. You’d be surprised how many issues go away once the volume is there. A lot of coaching gets dramatic because it’s easier to talk about why something isn’t working than to go do the boring thing again.
She said she doesn’t dwell or cry about stuff anymore. She just doesn’t have time for it, she keeps going. I think that’s the most underrated thing in this whole interview.
The numbers, before and after
Before, it was roughly 25,000 in revenue a month, about 5 grand going to ads, one DM setter and a couple of people helping. She said it straight, they weren’t making a lot of money.
Then in March they closed $81,000. About 50 grand of that was cash collected, plus another 20 grand or so in cash came in from payments on the month before. So let’s say about 70 grand in cash hit the account that month, compared to a business that was struggling to collect at 25. That’s a bit over 3x on the revenue side in a pretty short window.
And she’s growing the team behind it. She added another DM setter and she’s hiring a CSM now. That’s the right order too. Get the sales coming in first, then build the team to handle it.
Why she waited to join
She was on the fence for a while, and her reason was actually pretty smart. She hates having multiple coaches at once, because you get conflicting advice and it gets confusing. So she waited for her other program to end before starting with us.
I respect that. Two coaches telling you two different things is a great way to do nothing. Pick one and run it.
She also said a lot of people think they’ll join a program and never get to talk to me. In the version she’s in, she chats with me all the time, and she said that kind of proximity is very valuable to her.
You probably just don’t want it bad enough
This was her line, not mine, but I agree with it. She said when people are on the fence they tell themselves they can’t put in the effort or it’s too expensive, and most of the time they just don’t want it that badly.
She admitted it was hard for her to commit to the amount too. But she knew that was the push she needed. And she said if you’re going in circles, go work with the best and don’t waste money on smaller programs, because cheaper usually means smaller results.
The part people skip
I told everyone this at the end of the call and I’ll say it again here. Pasha works hard. She takes a lot of action and she puts in the time.
Telling someone what to do is not the secret sauce. A lot of this came from her. If you’re the type of person who’s going to do what you’re told and do it 100%, it works. If you’re going to kind of play around and wade in the water and not take action, it’s not a good use of your money. Simple as that.
So yeah. Simple sales process, way more calls, no crying about it, and a team that grows after the money shows up. That’s how she went from 25 to 81.
